South Summit Brazil announces North American Jeff Hoffman as third headliner of the 2024 edition
Winner of numerous international awards and co-founder of Booking.com, the entrepreneur will be one of the highlights of the event’s Innovation Session, signed by Rio Grande Seguros e Previdência
North-American Jeff Hoffman, one of the most renowned executives on the planet and co-founder of Booking.com, is the third confirmed headliner at the third edition of South Summit Brazil, which will take place on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of this month at Cais Mauá, in Porto Alegre. Winner of numerous international awards, Hoffman will perform on the Arena stage as part of the Innovation Sessions, presented by Rio Grande Seguros e Previdência. This important space in the programming is dedicated to global and revolutionary personalities in their markets and areas of activity.

Hoffman will join a selected group of speakers who are among the main attractions of the event, considered one of the biggest meeting points in Latin America between investment funds, companies and startups. In addition to the North American, the Israeli Uri Levine, co-founder of Waze, and the British John Elkington, considered the “father of sustainability” and creator of the concept that gave rise to the term ESG, are already confirmed among the headliners.
A serial entrepreneur, Hoffman is the co-founder of Booking.com and uBid.com. The North American has founded several startups in his career, having also served as CEO and senior executive in many other companies. Its operations extend to companies in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, South America, Africa and Asia.
Currently, Hoffman is Chairman of the Global Entrepreneurship Network, which works with entrepreneurs from more than 180 countries. It also works in collaboration with the White House and the United Nations, supporting economic growth initiatives and entrepreneurship programs.
Among the most important awards ever received by Jeff Hoffman are the George Brown Award for International Cooperation granted by the United States Department of State, and also his inclusion in the Enterpreneus Hall of Fame, the global hall of fame for entrepreneurs. Hoffman has also been recognized in his home country for his philanthropic contributions.
In addition to the headliners, South Summit Brazil already has more than 400 speakers in its content program. Among the latest confirmed are Guilherme Horn, CEO of WhatsApp; Felipe Feistler, general director of Shein; Alex Szapiro, managing partner at Softbank LatAm; Nizan Guanaes, CEO of N.ideias; between others.

Tickets remain on sale for the 2024 edition
Ticket sales for South Summit Brazil 2024 are still on sale on the official website in three categories: Attendee (R$ 799), Business (R$ 3,699) and Executive (R$ 5,299). The event also offers corporate lots with discounts for larger groups.

A global meeting point between investment funds, companies and startups, South Summit Brazil arrived in Porto Alegre in 2022. It emerged in Madrid 12 years ago and has already generated 13 USD Bi raised by startups throughout the Startup Competition.
