Chinese company of global relevance visits Hub Aliança and formalizes unprecedented partnership in Brazil

Representative from Tuya, an automation technology company, met with Hometree and Fill Tech at the innovation house in the north of Rio Grande do Sul

A representative of the global company Tuya, from China, participated in a meeting and visited the facilities of Hub Aliança, from Instituto Aliança Empresarial, this Friday morning (22), in Passo Fundo (RS). Tuya’s Latin America manager, Stacy Yao, was welcomed by the deputy institutional director of Instituto Aliança Empresarial, Cristiano Basso, and met with the companies Hometree and Fill Tech, a resident of Hub Aliança. Tuya works with global players such as Siemens, Positivo, Lenovo, Midea and Claro, as well as other brands that add the technology of their devices to smart homes.

According to the deputy institutional director of Instituto Aliança Empresarial, Cristiano Basso, the visit fulfilled Hub Aliança’s purpose of bringing together major players in the market and fostering innovation and business generation with local and international companies. The businessman highlights that the house of innovation in the north of Rio Grande do Sul already has a home automation company and that this partnership opens up new business possibilities. “This contact with internationally renowned companies makes all the difference in adding experiences and promoting business in the companies present at Hub Aliança. The aim of this space is to do exactly that, create this relationship between large institutions and create new businesses based on expertise and technical knowledge of the companies”, he emphasizes.

Unprecedented partnership in Brazil

The meeting outlined the next steps taken in the partnership between Hometree and Tuya, which enables the use of the Saas automation system. The Brazilian company is the first to use this system in Brazil. This partnership allows all automation programming to be done before installation, which guarantees even more agility in the process, with smart home devices fully managed by Hometree.

Fill Tech, in turn, works on the technical procedures of the automation system project together with Hometree. The Hub’s resident company also aims to form a partnership to be Tuya’s official representative in Brazil.

For Hometree’s CEO, Elvio Ransolin, the opening of the market with the Chinese company makes it possible to introduce a technology that is unprecedented in Brazil. “Tuya has always stood out for being a company focused on selling commodities. The objective of this partnership is to jointly develop between Tuya, Hometree and Fill, a new platform, which will not only improve Hometree’s automation, making it immune to errors, but it will also raise our level of professionalism. This advancement will position us even more strongly among Tuya’s partners outside of China”, he states.
