Gramado Summit successfully closes Punta del Este edition

After consolidating its brand internationally, the event ends with great expectations for 2025

Closing the first international edition in its history, Gramado Summit reached a new level for its brand. Now internationally recognized, the innovation conference celebrates the results of the two-day meeting in Punta del Este, Uruguay. There were more than 2,000 visitors, 50 exhibitors and 80 speakers.

During the event, participants were able to enjoy inspirational lectures as well as a wealth of content on business, innovation, the future, marketing and internationalization strategies for those who dream of expanding their businesses outside of Brazil. The program was divided into three simultaneous content tracks.

The stage was graced by names such as Igor Mazaki (Jaguar Land Rover), Ricardo Wagner (Microsoft 365), Gabriela Comazzetto (General Manager of Global Business Solutions for TikTok in Latin America), Samantha Almeida (Marketing Director at Estúdios Globo), Flávia Alessandra (actress and entrepreneur), Lara Santana (influencer and content creator), Denis Chamas (Coca-Cola), Fausto Carvalho (comedian), Matheus Trentini (Riot Games) and Breno Perrucho (Young Businessmen). In addition to these names, the Secretary of Innovation, Science and Technology, Simone Stülp, highlighted on the last day of the event the main strategies that can take the Rio Grande do Sul innovation ecosystem abroad. Lucas Euzébio, partner and director at Silva Lopes Advogados, shares that the event has been a positive surprise. According to him, the progress made in relation to the delivery of the first edition of the Gramado Summit in Gramado is notable. “Although the event did not have a large number of participants, the quality of the services offered was evident. The business fair and content curation were of the highest level. I am impressed with the number of high-quality entrepreneurs and businesspeople I met here,” says Lucas.

A new feature in this edition of the event was the Client Room, a space dedicated to content developed by Gramado Summit clients, which included a series of launches, workshops and mentoring sessions. One of these activities was Demoday, in which startups participating in acceleration and incubation programs had the opportunity to present their products, services or innovative solutions to an audience of investors, mentors and executives.

In addition to Demoday, the Client Room provided space for Startup Race, an activity organized by FCJ GROUP for startups, which aimed to expand the visibility of companies and provide opportunities for relationships with investors. Other activities presented in the space were led by brands such as the Gramado Tourism Department, Silva Lopes Advogados and Paes Digital.

Marcus Barboza, CRO of Hablla, a startup whose goal is to transform the way companies communicate with their customers, shares his impressions of the first edition of the Gramado Summit in Punta del Este.

“We are very pleased with the Gramado Summit and grateful for the opportunity to present our solution at the Startup Race. This event is an important milestone for Hablla, in addition to establishing strategic contacts that will certainly boost our internationalization journey”, comments Marcus.

In addition, the event also featured its traditional business fair, where exhibitions, presentations and competitions for financial contributions took place. Among the activities was the traditional Startup Battle, held for more than seven years in previous editions of the event in Brazil, and whose winner was the startup Metabix.

Closing the Gramado Summit – Punta del Este, the organization also revealed ambitious plans for 2025, promising a program even more focused on innovation, for those eager to learn more about what is being promoted in the market of the future, in addition to strategic partnerships and innovative business opportunities. Gramado Summit 2025 is confirmed to take place from June 4th to 6th, in Gramado/RS.

About Gramado Summit – Gramado Summit was created in 2017 by entrepreneur and CEO Marcus Rossi. In its first edition, it focused on exhibition and content for early-stage startups, bringing together an audience of 700 people. Over the years, the event began to prospect larger companies for the trade show and also a wider audience for the discussions of the lectures. In 2024, in its last edition in Brazil, it received 15 thousand visitors, 500 exhibiting companies at the trade show and around 400 speakers in the content areas.

In Punta del Este, the event brought together 2 thousand visitors, 50 exhibitors and 60 speakers in three content tracks. The Gramado Summit organization will donate 100% of the value of the tickets sold to the victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
