ctrlX OS: Linux operating system for more freedom in automation

The Linux-based operating system ctrlX OS is modern, open and secure. Thanks to its interfaces and standards, it is open to co-creation, partner integration and automation technologies of any
kind. ctrlX OS makes it possible to bring solutions to market faster and operate them with high performance and minimized risk. At our booth, we will show you the advantages of ctrlX OS and the associated ecosystem.

Efficient software solutions
Simple engineering and maximum flexibility: The apps around ctrlX AUTOMATION, especially the new engineering and vision apps to facilitate automation tasks, contribute to this. The new apps complement the broad spectrum already available in the ctrlX OS Store: from AI apps for production and process improvements, to solutions for MES connectivity, speech recognition, network IT security, and HMI visualization. We will present our wide range of solutions for industrial automation and also show you how you can use the ctrlX Device Portal to get a transparent overview of all existing devices, licenses and apps and manage them.

Scalable control solutions for all automation tasks
Immerse yourself in our broad portfolio of control solutions: the control platform ctrlX CORE, the I/O modules ctrlX I/O modules, the safety solution ctrlX SAFETY, as well as the industrial PCs ctrlX IPC and various HMI solutions ctrlX HMI solutions that can be used for PLC-based applications, IoT use cases or analytics and safety functions.

Dynamic and precise motion and drive functions

This year, the focus will be on the compact servo drive for the lower power range, the 24 / 48 V servo module for the low-voltage applications and the cabinet-free drive technology. Energy-efficient solutions & Remanufactured Products
Sustainability is crucial for the future! Bosch Rexroth offers comprehensive tools and models for energy and performance simulations to optimize the energy efficiency of systems. The portfolio is supplemented by product-specific functions such as the Smart Energy Mode of the drive system ctrlX DRIVE.

Another important contribution to sustainability is product overhauls. The “Remanufactured Products” program aims to overhaul used parts instead of throwing them away in order to extend their service life.
